Handled Travel Company was born from lived experience.
As daughters of immigrants, we grew up understanding that travel wasn’t just about escape — it was about connection, identity, and perspective. Yet we saw how many destinations rich in culture, history, and meaning were overlooked in favor of convenience.
Later, as mothers navigating the complexity of planning travel while managing real-life responsibilities, safety considerations, and medical needs, we experienced firsthand how overwhelming travel planning could become.
Everything changed when we began traveling with a medically fragile child. The gaps in support, accessibility planning, and thoughtful coordination became undeniable.
Handled was created to fill that gap.
Today, we design travel experiences that remove the mental load entirely, allowing our clients to feel supported, prepared, and fully present in the moments that matter most.
